Viña Leyda was founded in 1998, in Leyda Valley, place today recognized as the last great innovation of Chilean viticulture. Viña Leyda was a pioneer in this valley, creating the new designation of origin, D.O. Leyda Valley in May 2001. Belonging to VSPT Wine Group, Leyda has planted vineyards for a total of 230 hectares.
A fruit-driven style of wine, this Chardonnay exemplifies the distinctiveness of the grape variety, with an honest and fresh profile. On the nose, it has ripe citrus notes together with tropical hints of guava and passion fruit. On the palate, it is fresh, with concentrated fruit flavors and honeysuckle notes. It is balanced, with a sweet, smooth texture and a juicy finish.
