The Château Vaugelas vineyards span over 150 ha, situated at the foot of the imposing Alaric mountain which forms a picturesque backdrop to this domain which has been part of the Bonfils family since 2000. The Château used to be an abbey in the Lagrasse area in the XVI century.
Brilliant garnet red robe with hints of ruby, with a nose of red fruits (strawberry, raspberry) leading to more dominant black cherry aro¬mas. Lightly spicy, with peppery notes finishing with vanilla and liquo¬rice.
